Darkglass keeps traveling the world to show you our newest creations.
London is an important city for music. Talented performers and amazing bands are all part of the UK’s capital city’s legacy and the London Bass Guitar Show it’s all about celebrating it and the world of bass: three stages, music workshops and the possibility to put your hands on the best bass gear in the world. This year, guess what? Darkglass will be there too!
“We are very happy to be at the London Bass Guitar Show this year” says our co-founder Hugo, “as it will allow us to share with different people in an entertaining experience”.
Different indeed, because for just two days (March 4-5), bass enthusiasts from all over the world will gather at London’s Olympia along with some extraordinary guests. Icons such as Andy Rourke from The Smiths and Megadeth’s David Ellefson, to name but two, will be sharing their knowledge and playing up close and personal with the fans.
But that’s not all. The London Bass Guitar Show is also known for showcasing the hottest and most innovative gear and this year will be no exception. The latest Darkglass products will be at the forefront “Doug Castro will be personally showing off some very interesting new products” confirms Hugo, “not only will we be showing the Microtubes 900 lightweight bass amp, but we will also have two prototypes of our forthcoming cabinets to complete the full stack”.
After its success at this year’s NAMM show in California, our brand-new pedal Alpha·Omega will also now be travelling to London. The result of two years of collaboration with Jon Stockman from Karnivool, Alpha·Omega has a sound that “is brutal, pure evil” and will be accompanied by another Darkglass innovation. “We’ll also show the Super Intelligent Footswitch, an addition that’s very attractive to easily get the full potential of the Microtubes 900”.
All the Darkglass products will be on display with Audio Distribution Group (our UK Distributor) at the Bass Direct booth, located on the D1 stand at the show. So, the invitation is now made “We want to invite everyone to come and share an excellent time”.
